E-Commerce website request

We were requested to develop an inexpensive online shop website with nonlinear header slideshow, little content and good looking product listings which would support both dynamic photo zoom on mouse hover as well as full screen slideshow optimized for mobile devices.

Our online shop web design solution based on Prestashop 1.7

After lots of consideration we have decided to use latest Prestashop 1.7 e-commerce manager for backend and premium Logancee theme which needed several modifications to comply with client request.

Website template upgrades

Logancee premium e-commerce template provides nice visual styles but it was not performing perfectly on mobile devices so we had to fix that first. Slideshow had to be activated, we also wrote script that automatically swaps home page content columns so on mobiles and tablets each section would be followed by its interior design photo.

After reviewing the programming code of Logancee theme we have developed support for both dynamic photo preview with zoom and full screen slideshow with responsive support.

We have also upgraded the form for their interior design services.

Online payment methods

HomeSet Design online shop features online payment options via Paypal and Redsys which was provided by client bank. For best security both payment options were installed using official Prestashop plugins from payment provider websites.

E-Commerce manager

We have decided to use Prestashop as backend online shop manager because it is easy to learn for the client.

After only a couple of hours of training they were confident on how to set up custom features for each product, manage search, slideshow items and update website content.
