Before the photography session

Amount of pictures

Before the photography session it is important to have an idea of how many pictures a photographer needs to make of each room, usually 2 photos of a livingroom, bedrooms and kitchens. One picture of the bathroom, 1 - 3 pictures of the surrounings and 1 - 2 photos of the front side of the property.

Preparing the camera

It is important to prepare batteries, take the charger, memory card and never forget the tripod, if any of this elements is not at hand when necessary the session might needs to be postponed to get any of these items, if a shop or your house is close.

Photo composition

It is important to take time and walk through the property to have a feel of the house and starting to note the best angles and elements to be move that might not fit into the real estate photos. Usually, there are some spaces ready to shoot and some need more attention.
